It has been carefully created for:rrAnyone thinking about downsizingrA professional couple/person who works nearbyrAnyone who needs more closet and storage space…… we got you covered. rrAs we all know, downsizing from a house to a condo is a significant undertaking. Is there adequate storage? This was taken into consideration when designing this condo. rrOriginally a two-bedroom apartment with only a queen-sized bed in the main bedroom, it was converted to accommodate a king-sized bed.
Because the original closet in this room was too tiny for two people, the decision was taken to convert the second bedroom not only into a walk-in closet, but also to use some of the space for the main bedroom. rrThe walk-in closet is an Ikea Pax system. It features drawers for jewellery, locations for ties and other notable objects, and space for linens. rrAnother issue with the layout was that the front closet couldn’t contain both summer and winter coats. In addition, being a bath enthusiast, I thought the ensuite tub to be rather tiny. To compensate for the lack of storage, the main bathroom was converted into a powder room.
The front closet, as well as the bathroom, were moved into this area. With a larger ensuite comes a standalone soaker tub and space for a bespoke shower with a tile base rather than acrylic. rrThe flooring of the apartment was renovated to reduce scratches and other issues that time and use can cause. rrAfter the sale, the pantry had just open shelf. To keep things nice and neat, cabinets were built, providing extra counter space and storage.
