The B-listed Lomond Castle is made of blond sandstone and has a slate roof. It was built as a country residence around 1860. The structure was completely renovated, upgraded, and expanded to create a limited number of exclusive apartments and two-story residences.

The Arrochar Alps are home to four Munros (mountains higher than 3000 feet) and six Corbetts, the most well-known of which is The Cobbler. Boats can easily access Ben Lomond.
The Cameron House Hotel is located on the loch’s edge. The Loch Lomond Golf Club has an international membership and has hosted the Scottish Open Golf Championship in the past. Carrick Golf Club is also nearby. The nearest town, Helensburgh, has excellent restaurants, bars, and supermarkets. Hermitage Academy is the local secondary school, and Lomond School offers private primary and secondary education.
Regular trains run from Helensburgh Station to Glasgow, taking about 40 minutes. Central Glasgow (26 miles) can be reached by car in less than an hour under normal driving conditions, and Glasgow Airport, which offers regular domestic and international flights, in 40 minutes. Under normal driving conditions, Edinburgh and St Andrews are approximately 2 hours away.
